I was just looking at getting some cover for myself my partner. We are heading to the USA/Canada next month.
My partner has type 2 diabetes. I looked at some companies and they wanted to charge extra to cover this pre existing condition. Getcover.com want to charge approx 200 euro. I have used them in the past and the pre existing condition has never been a problem and this is the first time an additional premium has been asked for.
I looked at Aer Lingus and they want just 84 euro for both of us for a one year policy. From reading the policy It seems that the diabetes is not a problem.
Is this too good to be true?
