Before christmas, Aer Lingus got rid of their fuel surcharge but the office of consumer affairs decreed that anyone who had booked and had paid the surcharge but was due to fly after the date that the surcharge was removed, would be due a refund.
Does anyone know if Aer Lingus wriggled out of this or if not, if it was mentioned how to go about claiming the refund (I was out of the country on a surcharge supplemented flight until recently)
