Aer Lingus -online check in with seat allocation.

I am travelling with Aer Lingus and I have already paid for 1 bag and also paid for "specific seats". I see that if I check in online the system will randomly select seats for me. Is it not possible to check in online if you have paid for "specific seats" or will the system recognise that I have done this and allocate my chosen seats?

The system will remember your chosen seats and these will be offered to you. Regardless of whether you have pre-selected seats you can then change what the system offers you subject to availability - this is sometimes worth doing even with pre-paid seats as sometimes the better seats are not offered for pre-payment.
