aer lingus hotels

hi anyone used A Lingus for booking hotels on their website? Is it any better than booking.com or alpharooms.com ( just reading some recent posts on this)

Any advice//comments appreciated

I have only used them once for lanzarote. they were a lot cheaper than the others at the time and it worked out fine. If I am in doubt about a booking, I would often email the hotel direct to check if they do airport pickup or to inform them if I am arriving late at night or request a nonsmoking room. Their reply always just confirms for me that they know I am booked.
