Can anyone explain the dual pricing of Dublin - Boston. If you book a return for a week the outward price on Dec 8th is €126 + €107.44 = €233.47 but if you book a single the same journey is €259 + €107.47 = €366.47. This is €133 extra. Is it going to revert to the old days when a single was sometimes dearer than a return?

Yes, one way fares to all USA destinations are 50% more than when booked as a two-way ticket. Not ,so far, to European destinations. It's the seem if you commence in USA.

Whether this is part of a deliberate long term policy or a temporary experiment (or even a cock-up) is not clear. Time will tell.

I'm surprised this has not been highlighted in the press.
It makes flexible travel more expensive than -as ,you rightly describe,in "the old days"
