Advice re: transporting flat pack furniture on Aer Lingus flight

I wish to transport a small piece of flat pack furniture (70cm x 30cm) on an Aer Lingus flight to Dubrovnik. I didn't check it in online as it did not fall into any of the categories. Appreciate any advice on the cheapest way to do this?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, this may be the solution. I have a very old suitcase and I can check it in one way and dump it then.
