Advice on starting up a farmers market stall

Myself and friend (he’s a chef by trade) are thinking of opening a stall in a farmers market selling a range of products. I’m just wondering if anyone can give me advice on the following:
  • Will I have to register a company.
  • Food safety issues.
  • Tax
  • Trading licenses.
  • General experience or tips.
