I currently work nights fulltime in a company which supply a 24 hour service.Nights where introduced 2 years ago .I applied for the position when it was posted with in the company.I was then given a night contract which has different terms and conditions to a day contract.
My problem is i have now been told i might be losing my job in july.I am wondering can my company let me go and replace me with somebody from the day shift because the day shift has slowed right down and is currently over staffed.Night work remains constant and has not changed since it was introduced.I find it very frustrating as nobody applied for the position when it was first posted.
