Advice on exterior finish to House

Are there people who advise on how to improve the exterior finish of a house - eg the type of finish (plaster, dash, paint etc) and the colour scheme (walls, windows etc). Also need advice on making some small structural improvements to improve the overall look of the outside of the house (an extension built with external Cedar Cladding that now looks sadm - need ideas on how to redesign) I am looking for an exterior designer (as opposed to an interior designer). May need a cross between an Architect and colour expert. Do such people exist?

I am ideally looking for a recommendation for a person (architect or not) who has done really good work on the exterior finish of a stand alone house.

Just don't let anyone persuade you to paint the exterior pale grey (this may be a stereotype, but architects seem to love them some pale grey). We get enough grey skies in this country without all the houses being grey too!
