advice on carers benefit and dca

We have been refused dca 2 months ago and sent in letter of appeal and waiting to hear back. Does anyone know how long this will take and if it will refused again. I was working full time til 4 weeks ago and took carers leave to look after my 3 yr old autistic son. I applied for carers benefit and received letter today refusing it. Any advice on how to appeal it and if i will eventually get it
 
YOu should check out great support groups on Facebook.

I know from our experience last year when we were in the same position, my wife came across some great groups that helped alot with advice, tips, names of people to call etc etc.
However, the only way you'll be heard is to shout louder than anyone else. Credit where credit is due my wife shouted from the roof tops to every dept in the HSE, every TD, councilor every day, every week. But it paid off.
