Hi all,
picked the Kris Kringle names and I have been asked to buy a new mobile for under 150e. Preferably from the www.vodafone.ie website for a pay as you go customer. Lots of techie bits requested (!) but has to be trendy and nice looking.

I am currently between the Nokia 6300 (small, slim) https://www.vodafone.ie/df/shop/ProductDetails.shtml?handsetselected=21828

and the Sony Ericsson K800i Cybershot. https://www.vodafone.ie/df/shop/ProductDetails.shtml?handsetselected=21070

Has anybody any experience and or preference between these phones OR would you recommend something else from their website around the same price? I'm not too fussy - I use mine to ring and text solely!

All advice appreciated, thanks.

Its for a female - 34year old. Wants something that looks nice, would be able to make calls for long time (e.g good battery life).. As for surfing the net etc, I really don't think that is much of a priority for her!

I've been reading a few reviews of both on the internet and for features and techie bits, it seems the SEK800i is the way to go. Shame though, as the Nokia 6300 is a lovely stylish looking phone, sleek and small.

Anyone have a preference / experience?

Nokia 6300 is a lovely phone with a nice big screen and great pic quality however the sony has a 3.2 megapixel camera, and the sony are also very good phones.
On the other hand the more bells and whistles a phone has the quicker the battery will tun out that is if its being played with a lot.
