Advice needed on car that was returned and we are being asked to pay €2,500.

I had a car on finance and reached the point where we were able to hand it back.

Later I was contacted to say that the car was under market value and they are taking us to court for £2.500 saying the car was in unacceptable condition.

The car tax ran out on the day we handed it back and we didnt continue it, there was also a tyre that needed replacing.

How could it be that much ??
 
Hot Air. Asuming you are in Ireland, it would not be worth their while taking you to court for 2.5k.
