Advice needed for chargeback on phone being purchased from 3

Anyone know how successful chargebacks are ?
I purchased a phone online with three and at the pay now stage the website froze . Then it bumped me back and I noticed the money debited from my account but no confirmation email . I rang three and they still have no sign of this payment. AIB has said three have drawn down the money . Will I have to wait 15 days to apply to try get a charge back
 
Not sure about the charge back waiting times, but I'd put something in writing now to Three so you have a documented trail in the event of dispute.

Yeah I have emails and screenshots of messages.. can't understand how they can't find the payment. Thanks
 
The only way they’d see the payment is if they were looking at the admin end of the website. Whoever you were speaking to has no access to that probably. The payment should be visible on Monday or Tuesday.
I’ve worked in several places where that was the case. Customer rings asking if we’ve received a payment that they’ve just made. It took a day or so for it to be visible to me.
 
 
Above is correct. Access to detailed payment is after the payments are processed overnight.

Three themselves won't have your money until the day after the transaction.

It might be the case that the payment automatically returns if it can't match with the account.
 
Payment was made on Wednesday the 15 and AIB bank has said it has been processed and not pending anymore but three can't locate it ..
