I'd be inclined not to start with a basic plan because you're hitting an age where you may start to need scans, procedures etc and I'd rather not wait on cover upgrades, and if in doubt go for the Laya plan I suggested Connect Simplicity (or say Simply Connect Plus). But it does come down to affordability to a large extent.Hi odyssey , thankfully i dont have any issues yet , i know snowyb use to be here was very helpful im not sure if he is still a member, its really which i should do first i guess the cheap one and work my way up .
I think it is 2% per year over age of 34... so in this case 50% loading.What would the loading be for a 59year old above the normal rate?
The Lifetime Community Rating will probably add quite a bit to your premium but will only apply for 10 years according to the HIA.

That means though they would be paying 50% for 10 years?5. Will I have to pay a loading for the rest of my life?
No, loadings will apply for a maximum period of 10 years.
@odyssey06
Or a max loading of 10 years which would be 20%?
I found this calculator tool and alas it is 50% for a period of 10 years.Well that would be my reading of it
