I see numerous employers advertising plenty of positions on the Fas website. Ts & Cs are all outlined - the usual employer/employee stuff - but then at the end, they invariably always have a disclaimer.
Usually something along the lines of, 'the employee is responsible for their own taxes'.
Isn't this the sort of thing that Revenue are interested in - as evidenced by their investigation in certain parts of the country on the locum issue?
(I do have an interest in this - Mrs Kildavin was out of work applying to some of these positions and showed me a few. I emailed Fas pointing out their 'error' and finally got a reply - something along the lines of 'meah!')
