hi,
I hope this is on right forum.
I wonder if anybody can help. When you are advertising a job and including the salary, does the amount quoted as salary for the job include the employers PRSI or is this cost extra on top of the salary amount quoted- as cost to the employer?
i.e is the figure you give on the advertisement simply the gross cost that the employee will get? they pay their tax etc out of that figure but it doesnt include employers prsi contribution.
Any advice would be appreciated...thanks

Your correct the figure is the gross salary the employee will get. The extra costs such as PRSI are to the employer.

You would only advertise the gross salary the employee would get

Thanks for that Dinny...I suspected that but wasn't sure
