Advertised price information on new build & VAT

Is the advertised price of a new build house on a property site in Ireland inclusive of VAT (13.5%)and is there any where that I can view to back up this information ?



e.g new build house A in Dublin 9 = €125,000 (inc 13.5%) as far as I was aware every thing purchased has VAT inclusive unless your a business

Other wise the cost of the property is considerably more
e.g new build house A in Dublin 9 = €125,000 + 13.5% = €141,875

What they advertise as the price, is what you pay, so if the price is 125,000 including VAT then the net is 110,132 plus VAT of €14,868

It is against the law to quote ex VAT, if VAT is indeed applicable
