advanced certificate in agriculture, online

Hi, just wondering has any completed or about to apply for the advanced certificate in agriculture, the online option? would like to know what course consists of if people have completed it, thanks.

Not knowing anything about the course you mention it just sounds odd to me. An on-line certificate in agriculture!!
Having come from a farming background with a family member who took a degree in Ag. Science this seems really odd, would have expected some practical work involved maybe with a pair of wellies

Available through Teagasc. Fetac Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Agriculture. [broken link removed] will give you more information. Practicle training is done at some site or other a few times. I understand with Gov cutbacks that the online tutors are scarce and therefore student places are limited, if they are running the course at all!!!. Odd situation if thats true.

Blacksheep - the online option is available, i know it sounds a little odd but it has placment days etc and one must do work on outside farm.

Beaky - I think the course will be advertised in the next week or so, for to appy to next year
