Administrators appointed to Quinn Insurance

I knew the state would be in control of most of our banks by end of day. Didn't realise it would get an Insurance company also.
 
To be honest I think its sad that another Irish company isnt doing well.

Hopefully they can get the company right again or find a buyer that will guarantee the jobs of those that work there.
 
It wasnt the normal staff, its them that I feel sorry for, not the senior management.
 
Yeah I don't think this is another victim of the recession. This was purely down to mis-management.
 
Yet another major Fianna Fail donor. I assume FF will jump in and offer to bail him out.

As far as I can see, the appointment of administrators is concerning cross guarantees from Quinn Insurance to other Quinn Group companies, which is what Quinn Group were fined 3.4 mill in September 2008, so what have they been doing in the last 18 months?
 
You're a penny late and a pound short there. What element of Anglo did you think was systemic?
