Additional cavity wall insulation

This has been asked in roundaout ways before but I cannot nail it on the head.
I am looking to improve the heat in the house for the winter. The house is only 6 years old, of cavity construction. It is a dormer bungalow and can get cold in the winter, especially upstairs. I have a feeling the roof insulation on the dormer part is not great. Not much I can do there now really. The kitchen is North facing and can also be cold in the morning.

As far as I remember, the cavities had the white aeroboard type insulation added. I don't think this is really good, so I was thinking about adding the bonded bead. I am just wondering if it would be worth it. Any experts out there?
