Activities in Galway

Would anyone have suggestions for activities in Galway for 10/12 lads at the end of May? It is a weekend away. Thinking of Dog Racing in the evening but need some activity for during the afternoon (to keep lads out of pub!) Thoughts so far:
- Karting: A bit too far from the city, but maybe.
- Quad Biking: Place in Tuam closed down
- Adventure Centre: Killary or Delphi
- Corrib Princess: Boat on the Corrib
Has anyone experience of any of these or any other suggestions?
