Hi guys - quick question. I'm just finishing up a very, very long probate. I was going to get a friend (ex accountant) to file the tax return so the revenue can be paid before the October deadline but my solicitor tells me I will need a good accountant. I have CAT and CGT and have losses to offset etc. The probate involved 2 houses, land and small monies from accounts. What is the going rate for an accountant to file this return?
