Accountant or Tax Manager

If you have CAT issues to sort out should you seek an accountant or a Tax Manager?

What is the difference?

Tax manager would be the title used in larger accountancy firms to describe a senior tax person in that firm. Most accountants in private practice will have a reasonable knowledge of CAT. However those accountants with additional tax qualifications or a specialist tax consultant may have additional knowledge of CAT for more complex issues. Many solicitors would also have extensive CAT knowledge.
