Accomodation rules for bankruptcy

Hi,

I am new here and have read a lot of the posts on Bankruptcy in Ireland.
I am just wondering does anyone know what are the rules about where you live etc.

I am single and I am wondering will I be allowed to choose where I live,
ie; I have a job in Dublin, but would prefer to commute and live in a 3 bedroom house rather than a small flat in the centre for the same price.
Will I be allowed that?

I have family members that come to stay with me occasionally.

Your mortgage/rental costs are separate to reasonable living expenses and have to be appropriate to your situation. If your mortgage/rental cost is the same in both locations and you can absorb the extra commuting costs into your single persons reasonable living expenses I can see no reason why they would object.
 
I think it will be a question of reasonableness. As long as your living expenses are not reducing the amount available to pay your creditors there shouldn't be a problem.
