Hi
Myself and my wife are bringing my mother to london in January and we are looking for accomadation around Hyde park or not to far from.We will need two rooms, so not sure if a hotel or a apartment would be cheaper.
Anyway recommendations ? Any good web sites?
Cheers

Re: Accomadation in London

I recently brought my Mum and we stayed in the Caesar Hotel. It was fab, really clean, staff exceptionally friendly, couldn't do enough for us, and a fantastic buffet breakfast included in price. The rooms were very small (typically central London) but they were extremely clean, with tv and internet access.

I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. We had about 5 min walk to the tube in the morn ( I think the tube station we used was Lancaster Gate). Also it was not expensive to get a taxi in and out either.

Hotel is located just off Hyde Park, and it is a direct bus/tube ride into Oxford Street (very handy).

Good luck!

Ray, try these, www.globeapt.com They specialise in short lets in London. Have a look at their web site and see is there anything that you fancy. Apartments are always immaculate. Highly recommend them.

You should also have a look at [broken link removed]. I stayed in one earlier this year and found them to be in a great location, spacious and clean. They are situated at an entrance to Hyde Park, next to a tube station (can't remember the name right now) and a short walk to Oxford Street.
