Accommodation in Carnac, France

We have finally selected Carnac for our holiday this year. We are looking to rent a house pretty central (2adults + 2kids) or within 10-15minutes walk of Carnec centre. I have googled the various holiday rentals websites but just want to see if anybody can make any recommendations from past experiences themselves.

Not sure if campsites are 'your thing' but we stayed at La Grande Metairie in Carnac a few years ago and would highly recommend it. http://www.lagrandemetairie.com/en/

Yes I have looked at La Grande Metairie alright. did the mobile home thing a couple of years ago in France and would prefer to go the apartment route but unfortunately this site does not appear to have apartments. Googled La Grande Metairie and got very varied reviews.

An alternative would be Pierre et Vacances - they have apartments throughout France and we've stayed with them 5 times!

This year, we're off to Tregastel in Brittany (2 weeks and 4 days to go!!!!)and as they've no accom in the area, we're using [broken link removed][broken link removed]
