Abridged financial statment

Is there anyway to find out what the expenditure of a company is, i have downloaded the companys abridged financial statment but i cannot find any expenditure on it

Presumably you are looking for a profit and loss account? If a company is a small company (as defined in company legislation) it will not have to file a full set of accounts with the Companies Office but instead this abridged set.

One way of possibly determining if the company is making money is to look at the difference on the profit and loss reserve from this year to last.
