i have a problem with power delivery in my 2000 A4 tdi.i feal as if it is dirty fuel but several mechanics have looked at the car and cant find a problem.any ideas??
 
common problem on cars these days. Get the air mass meter checked out. Probably that! Bout €90.00 for one you can put it in yourself if you are mechanically minded!
 
I had the air flow meter changed,dont know if its the same thing as air mass meter?
 
yep bonzos same thing. sometimes it dosen't show up as a fault on the ecu, so sometimes they say "don't know what's wrong can't find a fault"
 
Any lights on the dash? It could be many things.Can you get the ecu checked for fault codes?
 
no lights on dash.air flow meter has been changed.it was mentioned to me about filters that caused problems in some cars, did anyone ever hear about that causing a problem?
