A Question about Job Seekers Allowance

I went into the Job Centre for the first time today to claim. Would anyone be able to tell me roughly how long it will take for the money to be transferred into my account? I'm really in need of it at the moment.

SW should be able to tell you! Have they processed your claim and told you that you qualify yet or are they still processing it? If you actually mean allowance (means tested) and not benefit (PRSI linked) then have they done the means test? If your claim has been processed and granted then it should not take long.
