A career in Capital Markets Treasury ?

I am thinking that I would like to work in a Capital Markets Treasury area in a bank. I am wondering about qualifications, which qualifications would be appropriate to work in this area ? and what is the most common type of job in this area. Any answers much appreciated.
 
Hi

Great career choice - very very interesting but very tough. I did masters in investment and treasury a few years ago in Dcu who also offer a masters in capital markets.

Might be a good starting point. I don't know if I can offer any other advice other without more info. If you know anyone in the ntma or any treasury dept, they would be worth talking too.
