I have a 3 door 99 Polo 1.0 Petrol that I want to either sell or scrap, based in Cork. I've been offered some money for scrap (50 Euro) but not a lot. Car is driving perfectly - details is that it has about 140K miles on it, NCT gone this month, tax gone this month, 4 practically gone tires. Passenger door opens ok from inside and outside but jusy can't lock with key (that lock is gone).
Therefore to sell i'd need to change the 4 tires (160 Euro), tax(48 euro for 3 months), NCT (50 Euro)and then possibly get some work done to get through NCT - so could be looking at the bones of a couple of hundred Euro at least - is it worth it in the end, what sort of sale price would I get?
What do people think? Anyone interested in putting an offer
