97 Ford Fiesta Heater Problem

Hi
The Heater has started to blow cold air. I reckon it is one of the following
1) Heater valve issue
2)The thermostat is done for or there is an 3) Air lock in the cooling system.

Now my issue is how much ball park would it cost to get this sorted
in South Dublin and I do not want to go to main dealer.
Anyone recommend a good garage along the N11 preferably?
and could the problem be anything else. Have I missed anything?

Hard to say how much it would cost without knowing what the problem is exactly.
The heater rad could also be blocked up.
Its easy enough to test the thermostat,so that can be eliminated fairly quickly.
Possibly air locked but unlikely unless you had disconnected part of the cooling system,also the temp would be on the up!!!
The heater valve is supposedly very common on these and other Fords so i would throw a guess at that,ring Ford and see if they have sold or/and got many in stock ;)
