70K to invest

Folks,

Without going into the details why, I need to place a sum of circa 70K into escrow account for period of 4 years. The money can be invested, but the investment vehicle must have near zero capital risk. The funds must also be accessible during this 4 year period with a maximum withholding period of 3 months. Note: It is highly unlikely (I am guessing a 1 in 10,000 type probability) that the investment would need to be liquidised during the term of the investment period but it is a potability that needs to facilitated.

Could you suggest a suitable investment for the above constraints?

If you want no risk, there's no return available these days. Bank deposit rates are gravitating towards zero and long-dated government bonds yield less than 1%.

There doesn't seem much you can do with it. You're better off sticking the money on deposit. You can get 1% on 3 month notice with KBC.

I was considering the 4yr National Solidarity Bond (AER 0.99%):

But with such anaemic rates maybe prise bonds are worth a punt (payout based on a 1.25% interest rate)?
