5 to 3 now to 1 day week

Hi,
Couldn't see a thread on this so hopefully i'm not asking a question previously asked.
No employment changed early last year from a 5 day week to a 3 day week, now i've been told it's looking at being 1 or 1.5 days a week.
Having to work for a day is useless to me for bill's etc.
My question is,
(1)am i entitled to a redundancy payment (there nearly 4 years) due to the fact that realistically i need to find a job that is for more days.
(2) if i do stay i assume i can claim the 4/5 other days on JB?

Yes, you can claim for the full days that you are not working. Once you have been off work enough of days to give you a total of six weeks with no work when added you are entitled to look for redundancy, the employer must then either give you the redundancy or give you thirteen weeks of continuous full time work.
