I am involved in a basic website.

I did not create it, and know very little about websites.

It is built on WordPress, and it is hosted by Lets Host.

I can manage to creates Pages, and add text to Pages, and I have done that many times.

However, recently, I try to add more text to an existing Page, and when I click Update, a 403 error displays: "Access to this resource is denied".

I have raised a query with Lets Host, and there has been some back and forth with them.

But the problem remains.

I have looked online, and I see that one possible cause could be plugins. I see plugins on the WordPress dashboard, but I'm not clear on what all of them actually do.

I am really grateful for any advice.

403 is a permissions error could be plugin related, file permissions on the host or a number of other things.

Does this help at all:

The current version of Word Press is 6.6.2 Make sure all your Plugins are compatible with this version
Go to permalinks and set for postname
Also if you go into Site Tools click on Domain then check redirects, make sure it is set to Permanent 301.
