P PolkaDot Registered User Messages 378 17 May 2011 #2 Tax Credits remain the same. Your net tax should reduce. For example, say your weekly gross wage is €500. This will reduce to €400 if you switch to a 4 day week. Your net tax will be = (€400 x 20%) - Tax Credit (which does not change). Obviously you still have to deduct your PRSI and USC, but these will also reduce.
