That's too much money for a festival tent Clarkey! What you want is something cheap and cheerful, it's going to have beer spilt, people fall on it, etc. Check out a specialist tent shop and ask them for the cheapest they got, I think I saw the place on Capel St. beside Slattery's doing them for maybe €30 or so.
Also unless you're "big-boned" a four-man tent will usually fit 5 or maybe 6. Then again you could end up "entertaining" in which case the extra space is a blessing!

I've seen such tents in aldi and lidl recently and cheaper too. i even saw in aldi some kind of festival tent pack for a few people with sleeping bag and ground sheet and other stuff for around 30 euro all packed into the one hold-all.

Tesco are doing a sale at the moment per yesterdays papers a 3 man dome tent is 39.95, sleeping bages with hoods are 18.99 and camping mats are 6.99 if thats any good to you.

Got Aldi tents myself in the past - they were ok but don't last much beyond 2 years if being used 4-5 times a year - seams go and flysheet tends not to be tough enough for the abrasion that the fibreglass poles give it.

But for festival use, possibly not to be used again, just get the cheapest you can. All tents these days are at least average quality - anything in Aldi/Lidl/Tesco etc should be fine.
