3 day family break East Coast

Anyone recommend a nice hotel for a family for 3 nights in November. Does not have to be a hotel that specifically caters for families. Do not want the Galway Bay, Hudson, Kelly's Rosslare or the Dingle Skellig which are the most well know ones. Good food, easy location and relaxed atmosphere re kids. Have looked at Mulranny but reckon roads are too bad and weather too. Same for Inchydoney and unsure of those last 2 hotels. Bantry also too far and Killarney a no no. Dunraven Arms is lovely, but not a sea side location. Not the Grand Hotel in Malahide either. Hard to please everybody, but good food and location would go a long way especially with the bad weather. Is there somewhere further up the East Coast than lovely Dunmore East?
 
We found the Talbot in Wexford town quite good, little things like having colouring sets for kids at dinner time helps and it's an easy drive to places like Rosslare if the weather is fine. it has a kids club as well during school holidays
 
Not on the coast, but I find Kilkenny a good location for Autumn and Winter breaks, nice compact size and there are often things to do around the town even during the off-season
 
Anyone been to the Glenview Hotel in Wicklow? Very hard to figure it out from Tripadvisor.
