26" LCD Recommendations

Hello

I know you only get what you pay for but we require a 26" or 27" for the bedroom and budget is not huge.

Pixmania are selling this one for EUR 657 and it caught my eye:
PHOCUS LCD 26 WHS 26" 16:9 LCD Television


Does anyone have any experience of this brand phocus - is it any good ?

I am weighing up going with this for the time being or adding another EUR 300 to go for a HD ready model.

Although as said its for the bedroom and we will probably only use it for NTL digital for the foreseeable future anyway.

Any other suggestions ?

PS have posted on AVforums but thought I would consult the aam experts as well.

Argos have a very good deal on a 27" and a TV stand. Cant remember exact details but know that it is a well known make and looks like a very good deal. You will see it in the new catalogue.

The October T3 magazine has a review of HDTV ready LCD TVs for around a grand Sterling - most of them are 26" models.

Worth a look at.
