2 Week holiday-beach for her,activities for me-Where to go?

Trying to plan our hols for this year,the O/H loves sun baking where as I prefer to be doing things.
Could anyone recommend anywhere?We have done Oz and south east Asia so their not an option.

Luxor, Egypt - you could go on the tours and o/h can sun herself round pool. Went there in 98 - great for culture vulture and sun worshipper alike.
