Are 1800 numbers free to call from a mobile in Ireland?

However not all 1800 numbers will work from a mobile, most probably will though.

MBNA for example tell you to cal back on a landline,yet have no problem ringing and attempting to discuss your business with them on your mobile.
 
Am i mistaken or did i see an 1890 number being used as the "can't pay won't pay"
contact number on posters at various Donegal roundabouts?
