180 search assistant = Spyware

It looks like you are the victim of a spyware infection. See the clean pc key post above.

I found this on another board:

"180 Search Assistance is a search engine tool very similar to google but it is also a very well known spy-ware as well. If you go into your installed programs and look for it. Once found delete it. Although it sounds like you have antivirus software already that has tried to delete it and now it's trying to get back into your system. I suggest some software called Spy-Bot and Ad-aware these are both free to down load and will go through your entire system looking for nasties ...once they are found kill them off.

A word of warning! When downloading adaware and spybot ensure that you download the latest updates first before running the programme.

keeps appearing on my screen to download a fixing solution every time i switch on my PC. How can i stop this? I do fix it but it reappears again.. mmmmmmmm?
