1 name on mortgage 2 on planning

Hi new to here so bear with me!!
We're currently applying for planning permission on my fiance's fathers site ( right beside home house)
Planning permission will be hard got with him needing letters etc to prove hiz contribution to community.
My name will also be on planning...
But only my name will be on mortgage as he has been out of work since nov hes just starting job.

Wat are our options will bank go for this?
 
His dads at the min but can be put into mine once planning comes thru?
 
It's an awkward one, mortgage in your name only provided you are not yet married would require the site to be in your name only, this may give rise to gift tax issues, would need to check with solicitor. If site in both names then mortgage will have to be in both names. Would suggest you check with solicitor re the gift tax and then with a mortgage broker re chances of securing mortgage.
