05 1.4 Astra life timing belt/chain

Hi,
Can some one please tell me whether this car has a belt or a chain and at what interval it should be changed. Cheers
 
Yes goodle is wonderful.

Could you forward a link to this info as I still dont know if it is a chain or a belt and what the interval is. Think engine code is Z14XEL, which some sites say is a chain.

After doing a bit more searching for you, I am pretty sure that the Z14XEL model has a CHAIN.

Unless it has become noisy, a chain should last the life of the car and does not need changing, as does a belt.
