03 Subaru Impreza 1.6 Sportwagon

Anybody have any views on it? I tried HonestJohn but not much info there ... this is a good sign I think, have found a bargain and am tempted to go and see it but would like any info anybody would like to share first.
Only thing putting me off is that it's an automatic

Not a bad yoke. A bit thirsty for a 1.6 and will be worse in auto guise.

Built tough. Not fancy.

Not too crazy about having a fuel guzzeler does anybody know where I can get fuel consumption stats for the 1.6 Auto?

As per the subaru website the 1.6 auto has a 50l tank and a combined fuel economy of 8.2litres for every 100km......

Hmmm 31mpg thirsty ickle Subaru
