Hi, I have just been quoted €558 for wed 17th and thur 18th of june from the hotel reservations in the Wesbury in town for B&B, I know its short notice too, but is this too much to pay? Its for a birthday treat for my BF.

Crazy money.

You will find as nice a hotel and cheaper elsewhere in the city. Don't pay it.

Check out these:

Cheers for the reply!

I live in Dublin myself, i just wanted to head into town with the BF and relax in the city and stroll around, eat drink and be merry, maybe meet a few friends, I want somewhere as central as possible, was willing to pay for somewhere nice but i did think this was a bit steep,

Im looking at a few in Tempel bar

This might be a little cheaper?

That seems more reasonable.

Plus you'll have more money to treat him to a nice dinner!

Ya can't be

Is Tante Zoe's still open? I thought that Robbie Fox owned it and is having to close down?

As far as I am aware. God, I hope they pull though. I love that place.

know someone who stayed in Westbury Friday and Sat night last 150E per night -room only. Obviously they have much better weekend rates. Not sure if booked on line or direct.

short notice more often than not means cheaper prices than usual.
The Merrion and the Shelbourne are both cheaper than that.
