I have moved from the UK and am looking to bring €300k to Ireland and want somewhere to put it for 12 months before I buy a house. I am retired so not paying income tax. Any recommendations on accounts etc? My wife is a high rate taxpayer so I'm assuming keeping the account)s) in my name is best.
