I have an AIB High Interest (yeah right! 
) Current Account. There is a transaction (debit) of €1 marked Government Stamp Duty. I have no recollection of ever paying this before so can anyone shed some light on it? Is it something I missed in the last budget?
Just to mention, it couldn't relate to a new cheque book or anything like that as the last one I got came in 2006.
