I got a card today in the post and as my birthday is in a few days, I thought it was a birthday card.

Its a Christmas card postmarked December 4th! Quite early.

Not really,I have lost count of the number of houses that have trees and decorations up over the last week,personally I think that's way too early and I never put them up until the 7th or 8th.

You're right Knuttell, Christmas decorations up all over the place and some since October. Like yourself we wait until at least the 7th December and leave them up until Little Christmas.

I notice that many of the October/November Deco-putter-upers take down their decorations on St-Stephen's Day.
