Friday lunch in Galway

Meeting some friends in Galway this Fri to celebrate my 40+ birthday. Can anyone reccomend somewhere for a very nice, unrushed, lazy lunch.

Busker Browns have very nice lunch options, and you can hang around there as long as you like.
If you want to go a bit upmarket try Vina Mara. They have a lunch special too.

Buskers is a pub, although the food is good. They own Kirby's Restaurant next door but I don't know how good or bad the lunch is. http://www.buskerbrownes.com/ There is a link to Kirby's on that site

Vina Mara is a bit plush for a casual lunch for my liking. The grub is excellent there though. [broken link removed]

My choice would be Malt House for a casual lunch

Try The Huntsman Inn, College Road, Wellpark Galway - Tel 091 562849.
Beautifull interior, clean toilets, Great lunch food menu and excellent service. I ate there last Friday lunch time - their seafood chowder was excellent - it will not be my last time.
